**Your Venue - Lona Misa**

Unlike the original, Lona Misa reveals its charismatic charm and endearing idiosyncrasies upon the first visit. Home to 90 seats and sustainably crafted to be shareable, seasonal, and flavourful, Latin fare and bistro dining collide against the norms of the classical medley you know of vegan and vegetarian dining. From kombucha on tap to Latin-inspired cocktails, the drinks program celebrates the liveliness of La Bamba, pouring liberating libations from garden to glass. Meticulously mixed and creatively crafted using the freshest local and sustainable sourced ingredients, inspired by the lush green gardens and vibrant botanical wonders.

**The Gig**

As our **Bartender** (Beverage Artist) you will be charged with providing our guests with the best night they’ve ever had. You will take control of the bar operations with the assistance of your colleagues and management team. You will make beverage recommendations based on the needs and preferences of customers which will play a crucial factor for improving the guest drinking experience. This is a **Part-Time** role and will require flexibility within your availability. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Describes all bar items; methods of preparation and prices as needed
- Proper shaking, mixing, and stirring techniques using required Shakers Bar Spoon, Beakers, Jiggers, Hawthorne/Juniper Strainers
- Extensive knowledge of the surrounding area, events, and directions to guide and enhance a guests local experience
- Keep the bar clean and well-organized, as well as ensure it is always fully stocked..
- Works with guests to accommodate special requests and special dietary needs
- Utilize suggestive selling on established menu items or specials to maximize food and beverage revenues
- Serves menu items to guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- Performs pre and post-shift side work; set-up, breakdown, condiments, etc
- Follows all standard food handling, TIPS, sanitation and health department guidelines

**About you**

You will have great communication skills which will assist you in explaining the beverage options to our guests. Ideally you will already have 1-2 years working in a bar environment and will bring a proactive mindset and positive attitude to the team which will give all our guests a memorable experience.
