**About the Role**
As a key member of the Community Engagement Program (CEP) at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infectious Disease and Immunity, the Project Officer will facilitate community engagement and partnerships within the organisation. Responsibilities include coordinating accurate community pairing and engagement with researchers, maintaining processes for effective community involvement, and providing administrative support for program initiatives. This role is pivotal in fostering ongoing collaboration between researchers and community members to enhance community participation in infectious disease and immunity research.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Work collaboratively with the Community Engagement Program (CEP)
- Actively work with researchers to facilitate accurate community pairing and engagement.
- Contribute to continuous community recruitment and engagement activities.
