**Responsibilities**
- work collaboratively as an active member of the TCD team, attend meetings, and communicate issues to support continuous quality improvement processes;
- conduct technical tax research;
- complete complex individual tax returns for expatriates and internationally mobile persons;
- monitor the completion of work to ensure it remains within both time and budgetary restraints; and
- ensure that written advice highlights the key issues of relevance and provides solutions and/or recommendations that are accessible to the client.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for this role, you must:

- be able to understand factual situations and how tax law may be applicable to them;
- demonstrate high-quality research skills;
- have completed, or be completing, a degree in commerce, accounting or law, that gains you entry into the CA program;
- have previous experience in preparing individual tax returns, ideally in a chartered accounting firm;
- have a reasonable proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite; and
- be a current Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have a suitable working visa.

In addition, you will:

- be an enthusiastic team player;
- demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills;
- demonstrate a high standard of professionalism;
- take responsibility for achieving productive time budget;
- be self-motivated and autonomous in seeking out professional development opportunities; and
- demonstrate suitable technical aptitude, including excellent attention to detail.
