**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, providing guidance on sizing, styles, and fabric care to help them select the right uniforms.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of the shop’s uniform offerings, including sizing charts, material information, and pricing to answer customer questions accurately.
- Sales Transactions: Efficiently handle sales transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments. Ensure accuracy in all transactions and issue receipts.
- Inventory Management: Order, Organise, stock, and replenish shelves and racks, including monitoring stock levels, reporting low inventory, and unpacking deliveries.
- Fitting Assistance: Offer guidance with fitting rooms, ensuring a comfortable experience for students trying on uniforms, and help parents determine the best fit.
- Store Cleanliness & Organisation: Keep the store neat, organised, and presentable by regularly arranging displays, folding items, and cleaning high-traffic areas.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other staff members to coordinate stock, assist with special orders, and manage any rush periods smoothly.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, providing regular feedback and support to maintain high standards of customer service.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience as a store manager, assistant manager, or in a supervisory role in a retail environment, preferably in clothing or uniform sales
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills and familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems, ideally Shopify and EFTPOS machines preferred
- Dependable, punctual, and well-organised
- The ability to work effectively with staff, children, parents, and external stakeholders.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous experience in retail or customer service, ideally in clothing or uniform sales
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance or the ability to obtain it, as required in all Australian states and territories
