Quarry Production Supervisor wanted for one of Australia's leading suppliers.

**Your new company**

My client is one of Australia’s largest suppliers, producing a range of materials including concrete, aggregates, lime, masonry products and industrial minerals. They employ over 2000 people nationally and provide a variety of services including engineering, construction, operations and maintenance. They are now looking for an experience supervisor to join their quarry located in Melbourne West.

**Your new role**

In this role you will play a big part in ensuring the Quarry is run smoothly, including operational planning and objectives to ensuring that site requirements are met.

From day one your contribution to this company will help to promote a team culture focused on continuous improvement and will provide you with the scope to deliver important short and long-term improvements.

Your day-to-day duties will include but not limited to the following.
- Assist the Quarry Manager in upholding compliance with company policies, procedures and standards across site.
- Implementing effective planned maintenance schedules for plant & equipment.
- Help to Identify any improvements that can reduce costs whilst still maintaining required environmental & safety standards.
- Maintain the Quarry’s quality system, insuring compliance with, and communication of all health, safety, and environment requirements.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- To be a successful applicant, you ideally have strong experience in supervisory positions.
- Experience in a supervisory position in a manufacturing, mining or production environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Willingness to learn basic weighbridge operations.
- Any relevant tickets including front-end loader, excavator and/or dump truck experience or tickets will be looked upon favourably.
