EQUANS is currently looking for an experienced and highly proficient Procurement Manager who would be able to develop a procurement strategy for EQUANS to reduce spend costs. You will need to be confident in negotiating contracts and understand our requirements and seek best pricing. EQUANS is looking for a Procurement Manager who is proactive not just reactive.
- Responsibilities _
- Conducting supplier negotiations, evaluation, down selection, and ongoing management
- Deliver, implement, and maintain category management strategies for direct and indirect spend categories
- Regular audit & reviews of supplier performance, compliance, and price/discount adherence
- Negotiating supplier rebating arrangements and supporting business teams in major project pricing
- Formulating group purchasing policies & guidelines in line with EQUANS ANZ Group standards and communicating these throughout the business
- Process - driving the purchasing process engineering towards standardisation, compliance, and controls
- Key skills and experience required _
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Procurement Management role
- Advance MS Excel skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Previous experience in partnering with major suppliers to obtain best outcomes
- Property leases, insurances (buildings & vehicles), wholesaler & supplier pricing
- Sub-contractor pricing & onboarding, equipment & energy suppliers, basic office supplies
- Photo copier contract negotiations, mobile phones plans
- Flight provider and hire car
- Indigenous procurement strategies
