**About the role**

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Public Affairs, this position works closely with members of the communications team, marketing and fundraising team and corporate and community engagement team. The primary purpose of this position is to develop and execute an organic social media strategy for THRF Group’s charities that enhances brand presence and reputation and engages new and existing audiences.

We are an inspired bunch of people and like a lot of our roles, this role will be required to occasionally undertake activation and events activities on weekends. Time off in Lieu is offered.

**Role responsibilities include**:

- Planning, creating, co-ordinating and posting content via THRF Group social media channels, tailored to each platform including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and Youtube.
- Driving advocacy among our online communities, building relationships, and engaging with followers, monitoring comments, and responding in a professional and timely manner.
- Being creative with engagement ideas to gain cut-through on social media and providing evidence-based advice on how to share content to get the best reach and engagement
- Analysing social media metrics and producing regular reports against objectives to inform ongoing strategy.
- Updating and maintaining content on THRF Group websites

**About you**

To be successful in the role you will ideally have;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail and strong copywriting abilities
- Sound knowledge of Hootsuite, WordPress and Canva; or similar software
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Proven knowledge of social media trends, analytics and best practices
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, PR or Communications;
- And/or three years minimum experience in writing content for marketing or fundraising purposes
- Experience in using digital platforms and writing for social media
- Ability to work autonomously, co-ordinate and prioritise work and organise work time effectively in order to meet deadlines
- Can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn, improve and contribute
- An interest in the fundraising and/or health sector
