Pastel Pines International (Australia) is looking to recruit a full-time salaried Afternoon shift Leading Hand to join the team at our site in South Windsor.

We are a manufacturer of home fragrances, candles, essential oils, and home decor with over 25 years of industry experience.

This role reports to the Factory Supervisor and has regular working hours of Monday through Friday, 12 pm—8 pm.

**Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Oversee the daily afternoon shift operation in the candle manufacturing area.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
- Train, lead and motivate the team, creating a learning environment.
- Maintaining a high standard of safety in the workplace.
- Ensure the machinery is turned off at the end of the shift and follow the factory lock-out procedure.
- Ensure housekeeping rules are adhered to.
- Performing corrective actions when production quality is not met.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Minimum two years experience in the production environment
- Hold a valid forklift license or are willing to obtain a license within one month of employment.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet the production target

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
