Chas Clarkson is the National market leader in seasonal event design and illumination and requires an organized and enthusiastic Sales Assistant 5 days a week between August to December.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handling phone enquires, acting as the main client interface for incoming calls
- transferring calls to the appropriate team member
- Manage sales orders between Chas Clarkson and the customers via the phone and Web Site, including order collections, returns and any order issues that may arise
- Keeping Chas Clarkson dispatch register up to date with sales orders
- Assisting in showroom when required, including showroom maintenance, activation and deactivation on a daily basis
- Manage the sales order process - assemble quotation and present to the customer, follow up and close the deal, refunds & returns
- Manage the Showroom day end procedure, daily register totals and eftpos subtotals
- Understanding knowledge of the company’s product range and services
- Maintaining established client data base

Key Requirements:

- Ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships with clients
- Sound knowledge of Mircosoft Office programs
- Flexible with regard to work hours during October - January (Seasonal Showroom hours)
- Ability to contribute and be a part of a successful team
- Ability to be practical and hands on
- Natural 'go-getter', self-starter
- Ability to work autonomously but keeping department heads informed of all issues and problems
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Have working knowledge of cash handling and eftpos systems

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $25.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Sales: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
