Yard Person

We are seeking a Yardsperson to join our great team

The position of Yardperson is an all-round support role responsible for the maintenance of the yard and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of our equipment. You will work in a busy environment together with a dedicated team to ensure the yard is always safe, clean and organised.

About your responsibilities:

- Perform general yard duties, clean equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and organised yard.
- Willing to learn to spray paint and weld ( welding experience preferred but not essential )
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles, adopting safe loading & unloading procedures.
- Demonstrate safety leadership and collaboration in a team environment.
- Assist with basic service and repair of non-high risk equipment in a workshop environment
- General labouring type duties

About You

Bring your flexible, Can-Do attitude to work every day and enjoy being part of an amazing team. As well as having experience in a similar role, ideally you will have the following:

- A current drivers license
- Construction White Card
- Mechanical experience would be advantageous
- Be prepared to work in a yard or out on site
- Be prepared to perform manual handling tasks
- A strong knowledge of safety

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.21 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Monthly bonus
- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Work Authorisation:
