We have just recently overhauled our entire data stack and are now eager to expand the team to drive new use cases like dynamic pricing.

We are now heavily expanding into adjacent verticals like multi-family homes and retirement villages both in Australia and overseas. Our ambition is to 10x our size again over the next 5 years.

**A Day in the Life of Scape’s Manager, Data and Analytics**:
As our **Manager, Data and Analytics**, you report directly into Scape’s Technology executive and are the driving force behind our ongoing data transformation. We have a lot of momentum as we completely overhauled our data stack around Snowflake and re-built all dashboards on Tableau. We are now looking for someone to shape our next chapter, leveraging the great progress of the underlying data platforms with MLL/AI and shifting us into more predictive use cases like dynamic pricing. This is an onsite role based at our Sydney HQ office.

No two days are the same at Scape, but here’s a taste of what your day could look like:

- Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to define and drive the strategic vision for data and insights at Scape.
- Develop, prioritise and own the execution of our data roadmap in close alignment with our stakeholders across the business.
- Build, lead, and mentor an internal team of data professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment and collaborate with external partners.
- Be the mastermind behind the dashboards, predictive models, and deep-dive analyses that uncover key business trends and supercharge team efficiency.
- Champion data literacy and user adoption of analytics tools, delivering tailored training and ensuring everyone feels empowered to leverage data.
- Oversee data governance, data quality, and security to ensure our data is accurate, reliable, and secure.

**What makes you successful?**

You’re a visionary data leader with a passion for turning data into strategic insights. At the same time, you are hands-on to work with the team on Snowflake as we are still small but with plans to scale both internally and with the help of partners. Hence, a background in high-growth, scale-up companies is preferred. But above all we need someone that is excited about the progress in the data platform space and can combine it with its business acumen into valuable use cases.

Here’s what sets you apart:

- Proven experience in a data leadership role, with a track record of building and managing data teams and platforms, ideally based on Snowflake.
- Deep technical knowledge with hands-on experience on modern data platforms like Snowflake and associated ETL/ELT technologies like DBT.
- Growth mindset and passion for innovation, as our technology platforms and the business are evolving at an impressive pace.
- A knack for translating complex business problems into analytical frameworks and communicating data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute a data strategy that aligns with and drives business objectives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.
- A collaborative, hands-on approach and the ability to inspire confidence and lead the business on its data journey.
