**Retail Assistant**:

- (Casual Position available 20+hrs)_

Established in 2015, The Bugsy Shop is a proudly independent, family-owned business, specialising in super premium all natural pet meals and healthy treats with two busy retail outlets, a successful online store as well as our own manufacturing facility.

We are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic retail sales person to join our sales team, working primarily from our shop, located in Prahran. There may be instances where being in our Camberwell shop is required. Trialing at our Camberwell outlet is an essential part of our interview process. Training will be provided.

Prior experience in sales & customer service processes is essential, with previous pet industry experience highly regarded.

**This role involves**:

- General shopkeeping duties.
- Merchandising and basic display management
- Raise stock requisitions from factory.
- Inbound & Outbound sales calls from our click and collect customers
- Have had dogs or cats as pets.
- proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Suite. Shopify & Xero will be a plus.
- Previous sales or customer service experience.
- Energetic personality with a punctual and reliable approach to work.
- Communicate confidently with good written and verbal skills.
- Happy to work alone on quieter days.

Experience working in the pet food industry would be very highly regarded. Additionally, some packing & lifting will be required as part of the role.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
