As the Principal Project Officer, Business Governance and Data, Business and Service Support, you will support the Manager, Business Governance and Data and contribute to activities supporting the department's planning and performance management framework, including strategic and operational planning, development of budget papers and non-financial performance monitoring and reporting by:

- Coordinate and where necessary lead and participate in complex projects such as the coordination and preparation of Housing and Homelessness Services' Operational Plan and quarterly review and contribution to the department's Annual Report, Strategic Plan, and State Budget papers. Coordination of Estimates preparation for the Division is also a key activity.
- Coordinating the preparation of a diverse range of internal and external reports, including executive reports to the Board of Management, Housing Executive Leadership Team, the Minister's Office and State and Australian Government reporting obligations.
- Assisting senior managers with the implementation of the department's Planning and Performance Framework, Risk Management Framework and the Government's Financial Management Framework aligned with best practice frameworks and relevant polices and standards.
- Providing high quality advice to the Manager Business Governance and Data and senior management in relation to risk management processes in Housing and Homelessness Services.
- Researching and preparing reports, submissions, briefing notes and correspondence on a range of complex corporate governance issues.
- Leading reviews of Housing and Homelessness Services' performance measures to ensure they meet the needs of senior management and provide effective monitoring of program performance.
- Providing high quality facilitation to management and staff in business units to assist in the development and implementation of reporting and corporate governance projects.
- Providing professional advice to senior management and other staff on a range of strategic business and corporate governance processes.
- Providing high quality advice to the Manager, Business Governance and Data about corporate governance matters with a view to continuous improvement of service area processes.
- Maintaining contact with central Governance, Planning and Reporting unit on issues associated with strategic functions of the department, including planning and reporting.
- Supporting and helping maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
