**Description**:
The Role

The role is based in our Lithgow warehouse and reports to the Warehouse Manager. This position is responsible for completing deliveries in a timely manner to Sydney Metro areas, Canberra and Newcastle areas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Loading and unloading of vehicles on a daily basis
- Completing all deliveries and pickups in a timely and efficient manner, notifying customers prior to each delivery.
- Assist customers hand underload when required
- Completing vehicle safety checklist each morning and reporting any issues to manager
- Interacting with customers in a professional manner
- Assist warehouse staff when needed with freight and logistics planning

**Skills and Experiences**:
**The skills deemed essential for this position are**:

- Good leadership skills, honest, reliable and adaptable to any situation regarding deliveries
- Confident and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
- Sound knowledge of the Sydney Metro and surrounding areas
- Forklift ticket
- Valid heavy vehicle driver's license

**Desired skills**:

- 3yrs driving experience with truck and trailer combination
- Experience in logistics planning
- WHS knowledge
- Basic computer skills
- Strong safety culture
