**YOUR ROLE**

As a Principal Policy and Governance professional, you will become part of IAG’s award-winning legal division, recognized as the 2022 Large Legal Team of the Year at the ACC Corporate Lawyer awards. In this pivotal role, you will support the Company Secretariat Office (LCSO) by offering expert governance and legal regulatory advice, working closely with key regulators such as ASX, ASIC, and APRA.

You will also collaborate with members of the Company Secretariat Office (CSO) to ensure that legal and regulatory compliance is thoroughly embedded within IAG, ensuring that relevant legal and regulatory requirements within the CSO are met.

This is a permanent full-time role based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria:

- Significant legal, regulatory and compliance advisory experience gained within an ASIC or APRA regulated legal entity preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage deliverables and resourcing for multiple projects
- A basic understanding of general insurance and/or the broader financial services industry is highly regarded, but not essential
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
