We are seeking a Support Worker to join our supportive and growing team to work with participants within our organisation across Melbourne. We have participants in varies locations around the Melbourne and in the outer suburbs of Melbourne (Eastern and Southern Melbourne).

This position also has the added bonus of further opportunities and growth within the organisation and field.

Positions available for day, morning, afternoon, early evening, sleep overs and weekends. The hours are dependent on participant needs.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Demonstrated knowledge of disability and mental health.
- Experience in the Support Worker or Disability Field
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Victorian Driver's license and vehicle
- NDIS worker Screening Check (willing to obtain)
- Demonstrates knowledge non-verbal participants
- Experience with Autism and managing behaviour of concerns preferred.
- Demonstrates clear English-speaking skills.

**About you**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Australian Preferred)
- Basic computer/technology knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills and genuine care and attention to our participants.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Have passion for what you do

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Work with people who have varying needs with a variety of disabilities
- Flexible work arrangements around peoples’ individual needs, including shift times/days, personal care tasks and manual handling
- You may need to undergo additional training such has manual handling, medication training etc.
- Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?
- Are you available to travel for this role when required?
- Do you have a current NDIS Worker Screening Check?
- Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?
- Which of the following First Aid accreditations do you currently hold?

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $37.00 - $41.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
