**Description**:
**The Opportunity**:
As the Practice Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and direction of our Victorian consulting practice.
This role is ideal for a seasoned consultant and business development strategist with expertise in client relationship management and project oversight. You’ll lead, inspire and grow a talented biodiversity team to deliver outstanding project outcomes while driving initiatives that align with market trends and NGH’s strategic goals.
The position offers a unique blend of technical influence, commercial focus, and the opportunity to engage directly with clients and industry leaders to position NGH as a thought leader in the field.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Business Development and Growth**:
Drive client relationships as a trusted advisor, identifying and securing new business opportunities
- **Operational and Project Management**:
Provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations, while overseeing projects to ensure timely, within-budget project completion.
- **Leadership and Team Development**:
Mentor and coach team members, supporting their professional development and performance
**Skills and Experiences**:
**What we are looking for**:

- Proven client relationship management, business development, strategic planning, and project management.
- Strong communication, networking, and financial management skills
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Environmental Science, Ecology)
- Minimum of 8-10 years in a consulting or ecology role, with a track record in business development and project leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching teams and managing financial and strategic reporting is a plus
