Maintenance Handyperson

Have you been looking for a position with plenty of variety and love working with your hands?

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an experienced and multi-skilled Handyperson to join our team on a full-time basis. Propertyworks is a property maintenance company servicing both the commercial and private sectors in Melbourne.

This role will involve undertaking maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties.

We seek someone who:

- Is amazing at customer service
- Will leave a site better than they found it (not afraid of using a vacuum)
- Is reliable, motivated and hard working
- Has the ability to work independently or as a team member
- Is able to meet targets and deadlines

- Is a problem solver
- Comfortable with using technology (smart phone for job management app)
- General repairs and maintenance
- Painting
- Plastering
- Small tile repairs and re-grouting
- Silicone removal and caulking
- Small carpentry jobs including timber repairs to windows and frames, skirting, flooring installation, fence and deck repairs and replacement etc.
- Door and lock installation
- Fencing/Decking repairs and maintenance
- Gutter cleaning
- Fly-screen and window winder installation

- You are honest and reliable
- You have a great eye for detail
- Clear spoken and written English

Other requirements:

- Ability to handle heavy lifting and be physically fit
- Have your own licence, suitable vehicle, and tools

The successful applicant will need to be someone who can handle the pressure of a changing workspace and schedule to meet the demands of our clients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Subcontract, Casual
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
