**Role Details**:
We’re looking for a skilled **Team Leader, Financial Operations** who can confidently oversee specialist finance functions, drive improvements in systems and processes, and provide expert advice that supports effective financial management across the agency.

**In this role, you will**:

- Lead financial compliance, policy, debt, insurance and cash management functions.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems and business planning.
- Oversee reconciliations, journals and compliance reporting.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide expert financial advice.
- Lead reviews, audits and projects to achieve continuous improvement.
- Prepare high-level reports, advice and recommendations for decision making.

You have extensive experience managing finance functions in a complex environment and a strong understanding of government financial and accounting standards. You communicate clearly, provide expert advice with confidence, and can negotiate and consult effectively with stakeholders.
