**About the Opportunity**

Based at Lithgow you will be appointed as a Full Time Security Officer and will be tasked with securing the premises and ensuring the safety of all staff, contractors and visitors on site.
- Railway Station emphasis is on crowd control and anti-social behaviour
- Maintenance Centre and Stabling Yard emphasis is on asset protection and safety in the rail corridor
- Constant verifiable patrolling and electronic reporting of log entries, incident and hazard reports
- Demonstrate conflict resolution skills and communicate security concerns
- Use of PPE and security equipment
- Provide other stakeholders with a visible security presence
- Comply with all requirements of SOPs and Safe Work Method Statements
- Cooperate with safety engagements and periodic memo requirements communicated either online or by the Regional Supervisors
- Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster

**About you**
- Full vaccination is mandatory for all applicants
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role (s)
- Current Security Licence (1AC)
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Electronic reporting of shift logs and rostering access
- Ability to obtain a Rail Industry Worker card
