**About the role**

NAB is undertaking major transformation in its data environment to deliver on the Data & Analytics Strategy. The Data Risk Governance team is responsible for writing policies and standards and delivering capability to the lines of business in order for them to manage their data risk.

In order for NAB to realise the value of data for our customers, we must do this within the bounds of policy and regulations through a Data Management Framework, processes and tooling to enable our data to be trusted and predictable and supporting the enterprise in meeting the requirements for managing data risk effectively within risk appetite.

This role will has much more to offer than the dryness and necessity of policies and frameworks We are looking for both creativity and an eye for detail and your ability to move from conceptual to operationalising.

Currently the Data Risk Governance team has an initiative in place to ‘Uplift Data Risk Management’ across 5 key streams of work. That’s where we need the skills of a switched-on project analyst / coordinator to provide governance across the project and change deliverables. Don’t know much about Data Management - that’s OK, this role will provide you the perfect foundation for diversifying your capabilities and adding the competency of Data Management to your resume.

Additionally, we’ll be asking you to prepare reporting associated with the Data Stewardship Program, the Critical Data Element Program and supporting the Steward Partners deliver change resulting from the Data Risk Management Uplift. There will be liaison between business and technology, a lot of joining the dots and what is really important, to consider solutions that are sustainable. Band-aid fixes are not welcome here.

**Day to day you will**
- Manage and oversee the Initiative Governance cadence.
- Maintain the Work Streams and Change Plan scheduled deliverables
- Scheduling, preparing for and contributing to Initiative Governance meetings
- Monitoring Initiative Governance meeting actions, risks, issues and dependencies
- Collate work stream status reports ensuring these are consumable for the relevant audience groups
- Work to support the Change Leads with idea generation, preparation and execution of change activities, ensuring co-ordination and integration of activities across work streams
- Work to support the Data Stewards Partners as the drive the adoption and support the operation of the data stewardship model across the enterprise
- Development and maintenance of reports and dashboards for Data Stewardship

- Continuously be learning Data Management and Data Risk Governance disciplines
