**Job description**:
The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to provide analytical and advisory services within the Employee Relations Policy & Governance teams. You will use your analytical skills and understanding of data to develop and operate calculation models to support Employee Relations Policy & Governance projects. You will be responsible for developing, interpreting and providing insight on reporting drawn from a range of information sources. You will support our people and our employees with complex queries. You will support the Employee Relations team in delivering timely, accurate and meaningful reporting, as well as accurate and detailed calculation outputs. You will learn about Employee Relations and its key frameworks.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Data Gathering, Analysis and Insight
- Identify and gather data from multiple complex sources, including payroll, rostering and workforce planning systems and other available reporting
- Provide data insights and analytical reports, where required build calculation models

Governance and Reporting
- Interpret and where appropriate, develop reporting to support the ongoing work of the ER Policy & Governance team
- Monitor data accuracy and integrity

Stakeholder Management
- Work with internal stakeholders such as, Payroll, Remuneration and other teams to understand business requirements and improve on data quality
- Communicate outcomes to business colleagues, including supporting briefing of People Leaders across the organization information Security Classification - Internal

Employee Support
- Provide ongoing support to the wider ER team in responding to complex employee matters

Risk Management
- Support ongoing testing of key controls within People & Culture Operations
- Prepare and reporting on risk management

Team Support
- Ad hoc administrative support as required

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience in understanding, analysing, interpreting, problem solving and presenting data
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities within strict time constraints
- Strong planning and organisational skills with ability to work independently, and across video conferencing as appropriate.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience dealing with medium to high volume data
- Superior numeracy skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite including Excel skills that are on a macro level
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., accounting, human resources, Finance, Commerce, Engineering or similar field)

**Desired Experiences**:

- 2 plus years’ experience with HR systems - SuccessFactors, Chris21, Kronos
- Experience in working within a Project and Transformation environment
- Understanding of Time and attendance systems and reporting.
- Previous experience in Employee relations
- Ability to understand and effectively interpret Enterprise Agreements and Awards
