Disability Support Worker

We are looking for two experienced workers to join our small team of disability support workers.

This role is assisting a 33 year old male with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy to live his best life possible. Client has no movement and uses ventilators for breathing.

The job requires:
Hoisting,
Hygiene,
Showering and toileting
Positioning,
Cooking,
Cleaning,

The position is for casual staff where you will be required for a variety of shifts.

Shifts available include Mondays and Thursdays from 6am, Monday to Friday afternoons. Back up for 6pm to 11 pm shifts. Possible for weekend afternoons.

Wages are above award wage with super also paid.

You need a willingness to follow instructions and pay attention to detail is a must. Client is very particular on how things are to be done. Due to cognitive issues client will micro-manage instructions and can come across as grumpy so you need to have a thick skin.

Must have experience with hoisting.

Must have valid police check

Must have current first aide

Must have a valid drivers license with no infringements

Must have good health and had covid immunizations

**Salary**: $43.00 per hour
