**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our **Painting and Finishing Maintenance team** at our **Port Kembla - Springhill** Manufacturing facility as an **Electrical Maintenance Coordinator**. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

The painting and finishing department at Springhill is the final process in the manufacture of Colorbond, where coils of steel are painted with our world leading Colorbond coating process and then packaged and despatched to our Australian & International customers.

In this role, you will lead a small team of electricians whilst delivering a cost-effective, quality focused and flexible maintenance function to the Springhill Cranes & Facilities Maintenance departments.

**What Will You Do?**

As the electrical maintenance coordinator, you will:

- supervise the day-to-day management of plant maintenance activities, including planning, organising, execution and review of maintenance
- coordinate and provide technical support to the maintenance resources within the section
- coach, mentor and develop maintenance personnel in manufacturing excellence principles and process, particularly around root cause and problem analysis and the development and execution of corrective actions
- participate in cost reduction and capital upgrade projects
- respond to the day-to-day electrical availability and reliability issue

**More About You**

As an experienced electrical maintenance coordinator, you will have sound leadership experience, work effectively in cross-functional groups and thrive in a team environment. You will also have:

- electrical trade qualifications, or an advanced diploma in electrical engineering
- experience working with AC and DC cranes
- demonstrated leadership experience
- experience with PLC Systems and drives
