Engage Abilities is a Registered Service Provider of the NDIS. Our team of highly experienced staff aim to provide our clients with quality service that reflect their needs and promote their dignity, wellbeing, abilities and independence. We are currently recruiting **5* **Disability Support Workers (males) *for our SIL house located in Campbelltown.

**The role consists of**:

- Supporting participants with a disability.
- Teaching and helping with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, and cleaning.
- Supporting and monitoring their healthcare needs, including administering medication
- Helping them to access community facilities and be included in community groups.

**Skills and knowledge**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A compassionate approach with strong work ethic are essential for this role.
- Driver licence with full comprehensive car insurance is required
- **Please note that all our employees are required to undergo a screening process including reference checks and a Police Check, and are also required to have obtained their First Aid/CPR certificate, WWCC, NDIS Worker Check and be fully vaccinated against COVID19(or be able to provide a medical contraindication certificate).**_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $38.04 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Are you available afternoon (2pm to 10pm) and evening (10pm to 6am) ? This is a rotating roster.

**Experience**:

- community service (support or youth worker, volunteer..): 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- driver licence with full COMPREHENSIVE insurance (preferred)
- WWCC, Police check, NDISWC (or willing to obtain) (preferred)
- vaccinated against Covid19 including booster (preferred)
