**THE ROLE**

With an increasing pipeline of upcoming work, we are seeking a motivated Civil Designer to join our friendly team based in the Brisbane office.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

You will be responsible for the 3D civil design of projects and project elements that are largely earthworks related such as tailings dam, water dams, channels, excavations, environmental control structures and roadworks.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will predominantly be conducting 3D modelling duties taking projects from conceptual design and developing 3D CAD models. You will also be expected to assist in the development of detailed design drawings ready for construction in the real world. Knowledge & experience with Autodesk products, primarily AutoCAD Civil 3D is a must.

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience working on tailings/mine waste related projects locally or internationally;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications;
- A strong proficiency of 3-Dimensional design/thinking;
- A ability to use LiDAR & Survey data;
- Strong drafting skills;
- An ability to model earthworks using grading & corridor techniques;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills;
- Excellent communication and reporting skills;
- Experience working within a technical consulting environment (desirable).

Expected salary range is $85,000 - $105,000 per annum.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
