The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Field Sales team within Bega Group, reporting to our State Sales Manager
- Queensland.
This is an exciting leadership role that offers an opportunity to have a substantial impact on business growth through leading, coaching and developing a team of seven Territory Managers, operating across Independent Grocery, On the Go and Local Trade channels. The role is responsible for delivering Bega Dairy & Drinks Activity and Achievement goals and is a key member of the QLD State Field Leadership Team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and develop a confident and ambitious sales team that consistently drives results- Develop regional marketplace plans, aligned to sales performance metrics- Build a highly capable sales team through regular in-field coaching, sales capability tools and modules as well as quality use of Bega’s Achievement Cycle- Analyse and understand market performance to develop strategies that unlock further growth in the territory- Drive value with customer investments through pricing, refrigeration placements, call cycles and the planning and executing of activities- Drive a culture of ambition and achievement by establishing direction and purpose for self and team members aligned to the Sales Strategy- Manage relationships with key distributors to ensure sales are maximised within both distributor and company held accounts
About you- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the market and industry dynamics including retail maths and pricing strategies- Structured sales methodology- Understanding of Competition & Consumer law- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, such as C4C- Deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges of Distribution and Franchise Owner network
