**The Role**:
As our Business Process Improvement Officer, you will be a part of a newly created role that sits within the Asset Maintenance department of the Project and Asset Services division.

The Asset Maintenance department is responsible for the maintenance and renewal of Council’s assets throughout the region. The areas of responsibility are primarily roads and drains, parks, cleansing, construction, fleet and building and facilities infrastructure. The Asset Maintenance department is one of the largest departments within Council, maintaining essential community infrastructure across the Moreton Bay region.

This position will support and facilitate continuous business improvement and performance of business process to achieve value and efficiency for council and it's stakeholders. You’ll also:

- Undertake process review audits with department staff to ensure accuracy and compliance of procedures
- Develop, document, and implement business processes for the Asset Maintenance department
- Provide support to the Business Operations Coordinator to ensure quality delivery and implementation of projects relating to Asset Maintenance
- Provide high level support to the department as required, to assist in ensuring compliance with all legislation, policies and procedures relating to the department’s practices and processes.

**About you**:
We’re looking for someone that will have the ability to align processes with business strategy. You will be able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of business processes and be a clear communicator who is confident in engaging and influencing key stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes for the council and the Assets Maintenance department.

You will have demonstrated experience in supporting business systems and have well-developed knowledge and experience of continuous improvement practices and process. You can effectively problem solve and analyse systems, and business process to identify efficiencies.

- Hold a Certificate IV in Business, Information Technology or a related field desirable._

**Award/Level**: Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 4 of the Moreton Bay Regional Council EBA4 Certified Agreement

**Remuneration**:$80,265pa + super (up to 12%) + 9 day fortnight + leave loading
