Support the State Valuation Service Executive Leadership Team to coordinate quality control, audit and compliance functions and frameworks to ensure consistency of standards, adherence to best practice and provide relevant and remedial action to address identified issues.
- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive assurance program for the State Valuation Service, in partnership with PwC Australia.
- Identify and conduct annual audits and lead audits or reviews of State Valuation Service operations to determine whether these comply with current legislation, administrative instructions, policies, guidelines and professional/industry standards.
- Prepare written reports outlining findings, including recommended areas for improvement and remedial action, and report on a regular basis to management regarding performance measures.
- Conduct post-audit reviews on recommendations that have been implemented to determine the adequacy of the action in improving operations and performance.
- Raise awareness to State Valuation Service Executive Management and recommend strategies to address areas of significant impact to the organisation.
- Other duties as directed and required.
