**About the Role**:
Based in Ballarat, Laminex are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor / Operations Support Leader to join us in a full-time capacity ASAP. The main purpose of this role will be ensuring Machine OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) as well as mentoring the team - including basic performance management and training.

This is a salaried, Monday - Friday day shift role. The standard hours are 7am-3.30pm but these are very flexible if you need to start earlier or later. Flexibility is important to for Laminex and all our valued employees.

To be successful in this role you will increase site efficiency and safety while lowering overall site costs.
**You will also possess the following experience and skills**:

- Min 2 years’ experience in a similar function and role
- Ability to build rapore with key stakeholders, especially those who you will be managing directly
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles (desirable) - OEE (overall equipment effectiveness), 5S
- Ability to carry out presentations and train small groups
- Experience in and Process knowledge of Cabinetmaking/Shopfitting or bespoke building materials industry (desirable)
- Understanding of relevant OH&S Act, Regulations, Codes of Practice & Advisory Standards
- Knowledge of systems such as ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
- Engineering qualification advantageous, not essential
