The Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced People & Culture (HR) Advisor to provide HR support to our team across New South Wales (Padstow and Gosford). You will be partnering and working collaboratively with our Facility Managers at all sites to maximise our people performance across the business. You will need to travel to Gosford as part of the role on a regular basis. As a People & Culture Advisor you will provide a mix of strategic and operational support across the business for all things people

You will guide, support and work with leaders in the region to demonstrate and communicate organisational values, clarify performance expectations, role model behaviour, and drive a positive workplace culture.
We hire for heart and values alignment, so it is essential that you are compassionate. We need a HR professional that has the right level of empathy, but you also must be commercially savvy and understand the importance of prudent risk management to help our business achieve its strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities
A true generalist HR role, your key areas of focus will be:

- Implementing People and Culture strategies, objectives, and action plans in line with regional operational goals;
- Overseeing and leading orientation training associated with induction and onboarding;
- Coaching and supporting business leaders on all things people, culture, capability and performance;
- Facilitating the implementation of and commitment to individual development plans, talent management, succession planning, learning and development, performance management, and salary reviews;
- Regularly capturing and providing insights, data, and reporting on staff perceptions, engagement, and performance;
- Complex employee case management, managing performance and conduct matters, and associated processes and workplace investigations;
- Assisting employees to return to work after injury;
- Ensure ongoing HR compliance and governance and provide timely advice and guidance on industrial requirements in the workplace; and

To be successful in this role you will be passionate about people and enjoy working in a true generalist HR role. You will pride yourself on your ability to ‘partner’ with the business, building and maintaining collaborative relationships, which, along with your excellent communication skills, allows you to influence key decision makers. A strategic thinker, you look to identify and develop opportunities that create and promote employee value across the region. You will thrive working in a fast paced, complex environment and are not afraid to have courageous and diplomatic conversations when required.

Additionally, you will have:

- Demonstrated generalist human resources experience in a true ‘partnering role’ or be ready to take the plunge into new levels of responsibility in HR to grow your career;
- Proven experience supporting leaders at all levels with the ability to work with a broad range of people from diverse backgrounds;
- Demonstrated ability to implement a broad range of contemporary people strategies, programs, policies and practices in support of business strategy and goals;
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and the capacity to work under pressure, prioritising and completing critical tasks accurately and within required timeframes;
- Understanding of workplace health and safety priorities and workers compensation legislation;
- Demonstrated experience in delivering and supporting change management initiatives; and
- Strong working knowledge of workplace legislation and procedures.
