Big Loaf Factory Bakery is searching for a casual Delivery Driver/Packer to join the team;

- You must be available to work 3am - 9am and available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Big Loaf Factory Bakery, based in O’Connor, is the heart of our food business, producing freshly baked artisan breads, cakes, and other homestyle bakery goods, including our famous cinnamon scrolls. We are passionate about quality food and source all our ingredients from local producers. The fresh products we create on site are supplied to our 4 stores across Perth (Big Loaf Factory Bakery Shop, North Street Store, Little Loaf Bakery and Wards Central Dining) as well as a select wholesale customer base.

This role will be reporting to our Operations Manager and will be required to organise our fresh produce ready for dispatch from our factory bakery, as well as assisting with production and cleaning when required. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a large-scale bakery and observe first-hand how we operate.

**Who are you?**
- **Strong knowledge of the Perth metro area**:

- A keen worker with fantastic attitude - you take pride in your work and are eager to learn and attention to detail in the work you produce;
- You are reliable and enjoy coming to work everyday;
- You are able to do manual work for an extended period.
- **A current manual drivers licence** (this is essential)
- A clean driving record and be a generally responsible human
- Strong and not afraid to do physical work - you will be jumping in and out of the van all morning and carrying crates

**What will you be doing?**
- Two thirds of your time will be spent packing and unpacking, delivery will take up the other third
- Arranging, organising and packing our fresh bakery produce ready for dispatch from our factory bakery;
- The day starts by packing the customer's orders into bread crates and then loading the vehicle
- Then you go out on the road and make the drops, getting a signature at each venue and helping the customer where required e.g. unloading the bread onto their shelves
- Then you bring the van back to the factory, unload all the empty crates you collect along the way (it's basically one in, one out), and do general cleaning and tidying up of the packing area and loading zone, and clean the van as required.
