**The Opportunity
**We have an exciting opportunity for our next incoming talent to play a key part of the People M&A strategy and M&A lifecycle. You will be supporting new and existing acquisitions and will be the point-person for People across all M&A transactions.
You will partner across the People function as well as cross functionally with the broader People team, M&A team, Legal and Finance, People Systems, Industrial Relations and any other areas that support building confidence in our acquisitions across the group.

**What you’ll do:
- Serve as the principal day-to-day point of contact for People streams of any M&A to orchestrate the execution of our People Playbook relating to M&A
- Establish scalable and repeatable processes to drive capability bringing a commercial and pragmatic mindset to sizing risk during the various stages of the transaction, including due diligence and integration matters
- Establish post signing requirements and identify key steps to ensure success of pre-completion activities where applicable
- Mentor and guide the team to focus efforts on critical success factors, demonstrating a commercial mindset and cautioning against approaches that may introduce risks or jeopardise deal value Drive the required momentum throughout the M&A lifecycle and seek timely decisions on key issues, ensuring accountability for action items and deadlines

**What you’ll bring:
- Proven M&A experience relating to People Functions with a focus in stakeholder engagement and influence
- Comprehensive understanding of the the current industrial relations landscape with a focus on pay compliance and other related topics
- 5+ years experience in HR with a focus on M&A work and ability to lead programs of work end to end
- Developing frameworks or working with third parties to ensure projects are delivered effectively and on time Navigate large organisations to understand key stakeholders to support development of projects as well as which stakeholders to be engaged at each stage of the project
