Key Responsibilities:
Activity Planning:
Develop and plan a diverse range of activities and programs that cater to the interests and abilities of NDIS participants.
Create detailed activity schedules and ensure they align with participants' goals and support plans.
Collaborate with participants, their families, and support workers to gather input and tailor activities to individual needs.
Execution of Activities:
Organize and oversee the execution of planned activities, ensuring they are conducted safely and effectively.
Coordinate logistics, including transportation, venue arrangements, and necessary materials or equipment.
Lead activities and provide support and encouragement to participants, fostering an inclusive and engaging environment.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Monitor participant engagement and progress during activities, making adjustments as needed to enhance participation.
Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of activities.
Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and outcomes for reporting and continuous improvement.
Community Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with local community organizations, venues, and service providers to expand activity options.
Promote activities and programs within the community to increase awareness and participation.
Identify and secure resources, sponsorships, or partnerships to support activity programs.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all activities comply with NDIS practice standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate measures to manage potential risks.
Provide training and guidance to support staff and volunteers involved in activities.
Qualifications:
**Education**:
Diploma or degree in Community Services, Event Management, Disability Services, or a related field.
**Experience**:
Proven experience in planning and executing activities or events, preferably within the disability or community services sector.
Familiarity with NDIS practice standards and participant needs.
**Skills**:Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative and innovative approach to activity planning.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and activity planning tools.

Pay: $47,111.41 - $88,458.27 per year
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
