Hays are partnering with a Building and Maintenance company, originally starting in NSW and over the last few years have successfully established a growing team here in Canberra. Taking pride and understanding that the relationships built have seen them successfully deliver construction projects & maintenance works for both Government & Private clients.

This company understands that people are the core of their business, with a key focus on ensuring quality outcomes each and every time. They are now looking for a Maintenance Officer to be a part of their growing Canberra team.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for maintenance across a variety of clients, your daily tasks will include however not limited to;
- Assist the site teams & maintenance contractors for all ongoing works
- Complete all reactive maintenance works for both Government & private clients
- Inspect & complete all preventative maintenance
- Completing tasks including; cleaning, carpentry, installation, minor plumbing ect

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role you will have a customer driven mentality, able to build & maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, along with;
- 3-5 years' experience as a maintenance officer/handy person
- Ability to work autonomously & simultaneously in a professional and organised manner
- Qualified construction trade is highly desirable however not essential
- Must be willing to undergo or obtain NV1 Security clearance & National Police check
