**The Opportunity**

The Job Planner - Reactive Maintenance Transmission Lines is a technical specialist accountable for developing Job Plans which include job requirements on high voltage Transmission Lines including HV outages, mobile plant, specialised equipment, external delivery support services, number of resources, minimum skill level, work hours per skill level and job duration.

The role is responsible for optimisation of the program by activity planning and is accountable for the accuracy of Job Plan estimates.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop Job Plans for reactive maintenance work on Transmission Lines including job requirements on HV outages, mobile plant, specialised equipment, number of resources, minimum skill level, work hours per skill level, job duration using technical expertise and work order information, as directed from Maintenance Engineering Group. This also includes where appropriate:

- Preparation of draft RFAs (Request for Access) and other access requirements/permits, environmental approvals, landowner access approval, suitable SWMS and other related safety information.
- Liaise with Works Execution teams on approvals of plans
- Responsible for clear and concise Job Plans to enable the efficient execution of works by Works Execution group and avoids work delays, quality or safety problems. Incorporate feedback on planning process to enable continuous improvement
- Ensure the provision of three-month planning program to Scheduling team, including contingent work.
- Perform data analytics to utilise equipment data and work order information learned previous tasks (repetitive) to improve the development of Job Plans
- Develop standard Job Plans where appropriate to enable efficient planning process
- Liaise with Maintenance Engineering Group to inform variation requests when work cannot be completed within delivery required by timeframes
- Perform optimisation of the program by activity planning of Job Plans with other programs and accommodating the changing needs of outages, programs and resources; reducing the impacts of changes and enable schedule stability
- Align Job Plans to available internal resources to ensure an appropriate and manageable works schedule is maintained by Works Execution Group
- Liaise with key stakeholders on competing work priorities that trigger a clash or constraint, outage requirements and ‘block booking’ resource requirements from Infrastructure Development based on Job Schedules
- Ensure Job Plan estimates are within budget, handover to Planning team to ensure budget allowance is managed through to Works Execution
- Analyse performance reporting to inform optimisation of program and ensure resource alignment to schedule
- Update and maintain information in business systems such as CAMMS, Ellipse, TAMIS, THEOS, or other systems as required
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant legislation, Transgrid policies and procedures and local Safety and Environmental Plans

**Skills & Experience**
- Possession of an appropriate qualification in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience:

- Electrical or Powerlines (Transmission) Certificate III or equivalent and/or
- Diploma level or equivalent or relevant formal technician training qualifications
- Extensive practical experience in maintaining Transmission Line assets including associated functions relevant to this position description
- Authorised or willing to be authorised under Transgrid’s Power System Safety Rules
- Knowledge of corporate drawings, design and management systems
- Extensive experience in ERP systems and works management
- Competent in use of all Microsoft products including excel to perform data analytics and PowerBI reports
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and allocate tasks to ensure work completed to corporate guidelines
- Sound interpersonal skills that will facilitate the establishment of positive working relationships with stakeholders and peers
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
