Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (CWS) is excited to announce our partnership with Challenge Employment & Training. On offer is a fully paid Traineeship to obtain your **Certificate 1 in Conservation and Ecosystem** **Management **Traineeship at one of Gold Coasts most iconic tourist destination, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable person who demonstrates a positive attitude and is physically fit to work in the outdoors.
CWS is the largest attraction within the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) portfolio and feature a vibrant and varied collection of Australian Wildlife and exotic animals. Our conservation and sustainability focus is a key part of who we are.
**What you will be doing day to day***
Participants will be employed under a 20-week traineeship, working 38 hours per week, paid under the National Training Award ranging from $9.134 - $16.334* per hour (excluding super). In addition, support and preparation for future employment will also be provided.
- This training is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government through it's Skilling Queenslanders for Work Initiative (eligibility criteria applies)._
**Highly regarded**
A driver's license and vehicle will be highly regarded as there will be travel across work sites.
