**About National Trust of Australia (Queensland)**
National Trust of Australia (Queensland) [NTAQ]) is membership-based, environmental charity which offers people the opportunity to feel connected to significant places, collections, and stories. NTAQ manages a diverse portfolio of heritage properties from Currumbin to Cooktown, which includes one of the Gold Coast’s most popular tourist destinations, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. As one of Queensland’s earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents**:to conserve and advance our natural and cultural heritage for future generations.**
As NTAQ continues to drive both mission-based programs and exceptional guest experiences across our tourism properties, we have an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced **part time Grants Manager** to play a vital role in securing and managing funding that supports NTAQ’s strategic pillars, key projects, and mission.

As our experienced and highly skilled Grants Manager, you will play a key role in identifying and securing grant funding opportunities that align with NTAQ’s strategic objectives. You will maintain a strong and proactive approach to managing a robust grants pipeline, continuously prospecting, tracking, and prioritising potential funding sources to support the organisation’s evolving needs and financial sustainability. Your ability to see opportunities and anticipate trends will be critical in ensuring we remain competitive and forward-thinking in our approach.
As a confident communicator who builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners alike, your natural curiosity and proactive mindset will contribute to identifying new opportunities that enhance NTAQ’s impact and effectiveness. Beyond grant acquisition, you will also play a leading role in the development of award submissions that elevate NTAQ’s reputation and showcase the breadth of our work. By gathering, organising, and refining relevant content, and working closely with teams across the organisation, you will help highlight the stories, successes, and outcomes that define our contribution to community, training and conservation. Your ability to craft detailed, persuasive submissions will support the recognition of our achievements across multiple sectors and platforms.
