Fresh Produce Salesperson

The Brisbane Markets® is Queensland's most important marketing and distribution hub for the supply of fresh fruit, vegetables, and flowers—annually trading in excess of 700 million kilos of produce, valued at more than $2 billion to secondary wholesalers, provedores, food processors, retailers and independent supermarkets.

- Only 11ks from Brisbane CBD with public transport available.
- Full time 40+ hours per week with a 3.30am start.
- Monday to Friday.
- Great team environment with variety in role.
**The duties of this role generally include**:
- Display product for sale.
- Assist buyers with their purchasing needs.
- Support Sales Manager and team with daily sales and managing stock movement.
- Liaise with growers/suppliers about stock levels.
- Prepare stock orders for dispatch
- Other duties as required.
**You will need**:
- Availability to start your shift at 3.30am Monday - Friday.
- Knowledge of fruit and vegetables/fresh produce is preferred.
- Car licence.
- Forklift licence preferred or prepared to obtain.
- Must be willing to learn new skills and motivated to commence an exciting career within the Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Industry.
