**The opportunity**:
At Village Roadshow Studios, safety is paramount Working within our Maintenance Department, you will manage in a ‘hands on’ capacity, a team of contractors, tradespersons and trades assistants, to deliver quality maintenance, repair and project outcomes across the Studios.

**Your day to day**:

- Must assume the role as a ‘hands on’ manager in an active workshop environment
- Responsible for the daily management, preventative maintenance and programmed maintenance
- Manage and co-ordinate reports where responsibilities include but are not limited to resource planning, training, mentoring, recruitment, performance management and conducting performance reviews
- Compile all documentation for respective productions
- Work within a given budget, report on expenditure
- Manage team members to efficiently run the department and create and maintain a positive work environment
- Facilitate activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Inspections and audits are conducted as scheduled

**What you’ll bring**:

- Facilities maintenance trade skills along with an appropriate trades qualification/background is essential
- Maintenance experience in a ‘hands on’ management role
- Knowledge of relevant standards and code of practice
- Forklift license, Confined Spaces ticket and EWP ticket essential
- Understanding of rigging practices and protocols is beneficial
- Physical fitness to enable the climbing of ladders and stairs and be

comfortable working at heights up to 60m.
- Excellent computer skills in the Microsoft Office programs and advanced oral and written communication.
- Experience with leading a small team, with a strong understanding of rostering

and labour management.
- Sound knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Sap and Upkeep experience is beneficial
