Information Management Controller

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

**Your next opportunity**

We have exceptional opportunity for an experienced Information Management Controller to join the join on 6 month Fixed Term Full Time contracts. You will be responsible for the management of Data transfer requirements, analysis of information and data flow to the various systems.

As **Information Management Controller,** you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Analyse and manage information requests submitted by Engineering, Production, Procurement and other business functions.
- Preparation of data for transfer to the target system (PLM system). The data is engineering master data, bills of materials, documents, drawings and 3D CAD.
- Auditing data of received information packages and imported items.
- Liaise with Data Transfer Managers of Rheinmetall Entities, Partners and Customers and plan information transfers.
- Check and release of received information and ensure that Rheinmetall requirements are met.
- Check with Export Control and Security on transfer permissions.

**About your new team**
- You will be working in our growing information management team and providing engineering data transfer services to our engineering and operations colleagues. With the growing amount of digital product information, being sent within the Rheinmetall group, as well as amongst partners and customers our information management team is part of the heartbeat the drives our company. The information management team is part of the development control department. Located in Redbank in Ipswich, our Engineering team support our Vehicle Systems Division.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Data Information.
- Good understanding of Information Management (IM) concepts.
- Good understanding of Configuration Management principles.
- Understanding the product lifecycle.
- Ability to conduct compliance monitoring and reporting activities for systems and practices.
- Intermediate proficiency skills in Teamcenter, SAP, SharePoint, Microsoft and other associated software.
- Understands information security needs, regulatory requirements and frameworks.
- Proven analytical, problem solving, effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).

The desirable experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Knowledge of and experience with Defence Contracts.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Experience in interpreting complex project performance specifications.
- Experience in using product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of document and information management systems and web databases; such as Access, Excel and SharePoint.
