Boddington is one of the largest gold producers in Australia and offers a unique opportunity to live in the Southwest. Located only 130 kms from the Perth CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast.
As a Trades Assistant in our Hauling and Ancillary team you will work a 7:7 roster - a great work life balance.
Reporting to the Supervisor - Mine Maintenance Hauling& Ancillary, you will be responsible for providing mechanical support to our Trades personnel working on NBG’s Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) Fleet, as well as the maintenance of supporting infrastructure and fixed assets.You will ensure maintenance activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner, maximising the amount of scheduled maintenance and minimising the impact of unscheduled maintenance through quality and effective work.
Who you are You will have experience supporting Trades personnel maintaining a HME Fleet in a mining open pit and workshop environment and experience working on Caterpillar equipment. As a minimum you will have a C class manual drivers licence, a Forklift licence and basic computer skills.
**Ideally you will have**:
- A MR Class Drivers Licence
- SAP experience
- Caterpillar SIS experience
You will demonstrate your commitment to safety and use your experience and judgement to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe. Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity together with your positive mind set in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.
