You can live locally and go home every day or stay in our Village for your roster and DIDO. We’re located approximately an hour from the coast and Perth.

Working 7 on 7 off dayshift only roster will be plenty of time to enjoy the lifestyle this roster can offer you.

**Specifically, you will be.**
- Ensuring maintenance is completed safely, in compliance with established procedures and systems.
- Identifying required resources to enable execution of work.
- Completing Factory Acceptance Testing and Technical Scope Compliance of Electrical equipment prior to arrival on site.
- Assisting with the supervision, coaching, and mentoring of personnel.
- Live Work Elimination - Electrical Champion for HME equipment.
- Ensuring Shovel electrical statutory requirements are met, recorded, and changes implemented to ensure compliance.
- Diagnose and rectify unscheduled maintenance faults to minimise impact on the operation.
- Support the repair and refurbishment of components including liaison with offsite repairer.
- Development of technical scopes of work for component rebuilds.
- Conduct defect elimination inspections and rectify faults identified with a focus on MTBF.
- Assist and support the management of component inventory.
- Raise defect notifications with supporting comments, drawings or photographs as required.
- Provide support with trailing cable relocations, repairs and testing as required in the absence of crew HV electricians. (including coverage on nightshift)
- Support the ongoing development and CI activities to maximise the capabilities of the onboard IBA system including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Support improvement maintenance plans providing data and recommendations to the Operational Support Network.
- Complete identified improvement opportunity on new and existing equipment including installation of iBA.
- Assist with the integration of machine data into the PI system to assist with machine monitoring and support reporting.

**Who you are.**

You will be a Trade Qualified High Voltage Electrician, with Australian Trade Recognition, and significant experience working in as a High Voltage Electrician in a mining environment on heavy mining equipment.

Your experience in the maintenance of Caterpillar 7495 Electric Rope Shovels, Caterpillar 6060/ 6030 Hydraulic diggers, AC Electrical Equipment Component repair and refurbishment, together with experience in CAT SI and SAP and a high level of computer literacy will be well regarded.

A working knowledge of reliability, maintenance, strategy, planning, defect elimination and continuous improvement processes, combined with awareness and understanding of the requirements related to Work Health and Safety Regulations 2022 and a commitment of safety processes.

You will hold a current manual C class driver's license, a valid WAH and Forklift High Risk Licenses and prior experience driving in an Autonomous Haulage open pit.
