Maison Saint Honore is a French Cafe & Patisserie based in Floreat
We are currently recruiting for an energetic, smiley, bubbly, creative and proactive **CAFE MANAGER **to lead our team.
The manager leads the front of house team in all aspects of daily operation and is responsible for the successful running of the venue.
The role is focused on guest experience & satisfaction and developing a team of loyal, long term staff.
The main responsibility is to Organise and control the operations of a cafe.
**Tasks and Responsabilities**
- planning and organizing special functions as in Fathers Day Mothers Day ect
- planning menus in consultation with Chefs agreeing and managing budgets for the food side of the cafe
- arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget overseeing stock levels and the ordering of supplies for the cafe
assist in recruiting and appointing new team members have good interview techniques
- Overseeing open and close procedures and financial transactions with staff and teaching procedures
- ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines and ensuring cafe is always clean, functional and of suitable appearance
- Teaching staff how to confer with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service and ensuring all complaints are dealt with by staff and customers
- selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff till staff ect
- may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
- be in charge of preparing the weekly roster while considering multitasking training
- Take staff meetings and continue to find better procedures as the industry is dynamic
**Skills and experience**
You need:
Previous Experience in Hospitality / Cafe manager - 1 year on similar position or lots of motivation (not counting hours)
RSA / Approved Manager Card is a +
Barista experience is a +
Computer Skills: Microsoft suite; (adobe is a +)
Social Media interest (InstagraM/Facebook)
Organizing small event
Driving License with Car
Interested in French Culture & Food culture.

Flexible availability as our trading times are 7 days a week

Excellent communication whereby you will create positive relationships with our customers

Experience in leading a team
Full Time position
5 days per week
