As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Elizabeth Vale, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
**In this role, you will**:
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

Full-time position - fixed-term contract until June 2026.
Dynamic float role - support across all rooms, gaining variety and a deep connection with every age group.
2 hours per week of dedicated Assistant Director time - fully supported and trained by our experienced Centre Director.
Be the right hand of the centre - provide vital day-to-day operational and leadership support.
Build strong connections in engaging with families to foster trust, collaboration, and a sense of community.

**You’ll need**:
Bachelor of Early Childhood or Diploma of Early Childhood Education equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
Current SA Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
Teacher qualified in South Australia - Hold active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA)
Willing to undergo a Police Check
