**Retail Sales Associate**

Poolwerx is a leading pool and spa maintenance company, where our aim in store is to help customers maintain and improve their pools, primarily through water testing and product sales.

**Work hours and benefits**

We are looking to prepare a casual worker for a busy summer period. Due to the seasonal nature of the pool industry, the summer season is very busy and the winters are quiet. For this reason, the role may be more suited to uni students or anyone who is happy to work 1-2 shifts through winter/study times and then pick up more shifts through summer.

Must be able to work Weekends. This does not mean you will work every weekend, just need to have weekend availability.

The position will begin as casual, with a rate of $20-$30 per hour

With Weekend penalty rates on top.

**Retail Sales Associate Job Responsibilities**:

- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
- Responds to customers’ questions.
- Confident answering calls and taking information
- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Assists in unloading stock from deliveries
- Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
- Be able to problem solve on a case by case scenario

**Retail Sales Associate Qualifications/ Skills**:

- Excellent customer service
- Selling to customer needs
- People skills
- General math and science knowledge
- Confident communicator

Pay: $21.38 - $30.00 per hour
