Our NDIS Community Services Support Workers will provide support to NDIS funded participants, promoting choice and control and assisting participants in achieving their personal goals. The role’s overall purpose is to provide individuals with a disability, greater choice, control, and freedom over their lives. You will provide support for participants that is community-based, dignified, person-centered and reflects the individual needs, preferences, and skills of people with disabilities and those who support them. Support Workers also responsible for ensuring that reporting is provided accurately and in a timely way that meets organisational guidelines.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Cert IV or above in community services or individual support.
- Ability to transport participants to a range of different services and appointments.
- Ability to support participants with capacity building, assisting participants in achieving their personal goals as stated within their NDIS plan.
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
- Strong knowledge of participants needs across the lifespan and cultural considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people to overcome complex situations and problems.
- Ability to work autonomously to complete tasks within set timeframes.
- Current Driver’s License (at least C - Car).
- Current Queensland Yellow Card (Disability Worker Screening), or valid exemption.
- Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children), or valid exemption.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
