As we grow our operations, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Mechanical/Maintenance Fitter to join our team.

This role gives autonomy to the right person so they can take a lead role in the maintenance of machinery onsite.

**About the role**

Take on a dynamic and rewarding role.
You will:

- maintain recycling equipment
- Work with a dynamic team
- Assist with the manufacture of recycling equipment
- Travel to site (SEQ)
- Assemble machinery & parts (crushers, conveyors and more)
- Use of equipment, hand and power tools

**About you**
- Have strong communications skills and be able to follow instructions
- Have experience using hand and power tools
- Possess a strong mechanical aptitude
- Electrical knowledge is a plus but not required
- Be able to take ownership of your role and work within a team environment
- Have a current Australian open driver’s licence
- HRW (High risk work) licence is preferred but not required.
- Follow health & safety instructions, work with PPE

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $37.00 - $47.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

**Experience**:

- Maintenance Fitter: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
