Overview:
At Gallagher Bassett (GB), we provide a compassionate and innovative claims service for injured workers and Employers who have been impacted by a workplace injury. With dedicated teams specialising in in a range of functions, we support injured workers with a holistic approach on their journey to return to work and to life.
We are looking for a Claims Accounts Officer to join our Payments Team. As a Claims Accounts Officer, you will work to process invoices and weekly payments for Injured workers, Employers, and Treating Health Providers. In this role, you will acquire valuable skills and experience with a view to progress to new heights in your Worker’s Compensation career.
**Responsibilities**:
**You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following**:
- Providing data entry/accounts administration support to the Workers Compensation Claims Management team
- Processing accounts for payment in a timely and accurate manner
- Accurately recording data into databases
- Maintaining a digital work queue
Qualifications:
**What are we looking for?**
- Accounts processing and data entry experience will be highly regarded (fast and accurate touch-typing speed of 60wpm and higher desirable)
- Previous Administration experience
- Good computer skills including with Outlook, Microsoft Teams etc
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to use your initiative
- The ability to work as part of a team
