The Finance and Corporate Services Directorate is seeking a **Financial Systems and Compliance Officer** to join their team at the Adelaide office on a full-time term basis.

**The role is responsible for**:

- Managing the preparation and review of documents, briefings and business cases related to the directorate’s administrative activities.
- Coordinating the delivery of timely and cost-effective fleet management functions for the department.
- Overseeing departmental financial transactions, reporting and accounts management, providing expert advice on systems and processes.
- Providing a range of accounting and financial management policy development and advisory services.
- Managing financial business services for the department including liaising with staff to identify new or existing service delivery requirements and issues.

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Knowledge in mentoring staff including providing leadership to support service delivery whilst maintaining a high level of financial accountability.
- Experience in coordinating and supervising the delivery of business and financial management services.
- Proficiency in effective communication including providing expert advice and reports, conducting successful negotiations and resolving conflict.
- Knowledge of government financial policies and advanced IT skills, particularly in data management, reporting systems and Excel.
